The Plant Biology program will pay the application fee for Domestic Plant Biology PhD applicants who SAVE (not submit) their completed application and fill out the Application Fee Request Form by November 24^th (11:59 Pacific Time). To qualify for the waiver you should fulfill any one or more of the following criteria:

• cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.3 or higher
• self-identify as an underrepresented minority in science (e.g., Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American)
• first-generation college student

Please complete the application and then attach unofficial transcripts through the Attach Documents Option in the application.  The GRE is now optional. Then, please SAVE your application (do not submit yet) and fill out the form below.

Within a few days you will receive an automated email from gsiswebmaster@ucr.edu letting you know that your application fee has been paid and that you can formally submit your application. Students recommended for admission must send official, sealed transcripts.
